09/12/2022

I got up early this morning at 5:00 A.M. and started my morning routine. Before leaving for work, I try to accomplish as much as I can. I started making my breakfast and lunch. I finished setting everything up and headed outside with my hot tea. I set aside at least 20 to 30 minutes each day for meditation. This has been a huge benefit. Focusing was challenging at first, but I soon discovered how to relax. After finishing my meditation, I quickly showered, got dressed, and left for work. I returned home from work and started working on my schoolwork right away. Even though I encountered numerous challenges throughout the day, I tried to concentrate more on the good. We have the power to shape our lives daily in order to achieve our goals. Every day marks a fresh start.

  3. Well said Saul - "we have the power to shape our lives daily in order to achieve our goals". Sometimes it's the little things that impact us the most, like meditating before starting the day and finding the good in our days.

  4. I couldn't have said it better myself. Daily routines are a necessary part of life and it helps keep us focused. I posted on another blog regarding the same topic. I stated that when I don't follow my routine, my day usually ends up chaotic.

  8. I am not even off of work at 5:00 AM. I still have another hour of my shift at that time. Sometimes I wish I was not night shift. Also having a routine helps, once I started making my own routine my time management improved slightly. I am still working on it though.

  9. Great to hear how meditation benefits you! Personally, I can't do it because my mind is all over the place but seeing that it actually took you some time to stay focused has inspired me to try it out. Every day indeed marks a fresh start. It's best to think with that mindset even if there are complications weighing you down from the previous day as it shows resiliency.

  10. Practicing meditation can help us sleep better without causing any of the side effects associated with sleeping pills. When circadian rhythms are out of balance, it can lead to insomnia and difficulty falling asleep. Practicing meditation gives the body a complete rest, which helps reset the circadian rhythm and get it back in gear. Meditation has dramatically improved the sleep of many people worldwide who suffer from sleep disorders, poor sleep quality, and insomnia.

  12. Morning routines are undoubtedly an excellent way to start the day. It's important to concentrate on developing a morning routine so that you can manage your time throughout the day, even if it is a challenge for some of us.

  13. Meditation is awesome! I go to the gym every week and I must say meditating before my workouts, or even when I wake up in the morning is a good way to keep your chakras aligned and maintain spiritual alignment. Yoga is the best too! It really helps when you wake up. Have you ever tried meditating with candles? I prefer them scented. Lavender is the best stress reliever!

  17. Pure inspiration. I recently read a book that said, that these type of thoughts are, are the actual portals to heaven. You're definitely doing something that all have to achieve but few have yet to begin. Thank you for this.

  19. This sounds amazing, my life seems to be crazy from the time I open my eyes till the time I try to close them for some sleep. My what I call normal day starts around 1 am and if it's a good day ends between 9:30 pm and 10 pm. There are somedays I feel like a chicken running around with its head cut off, but I know in the end it'll all be worth it, and I think I will follow suit and take some time for meditation to calm and collect myself.
